Subject:"When Hell Was In Season"
On this month of Memorial Day, I just wanted to tell you that you and your fellow patriot's heroics have not been forgotten. I now am an adult working in the surgery dept. of a hospital; but when I was young, I was one of those wearing a POW/MIA bracelet. I remember my mother lighting candles in the window when you were finally brought home. God bless and have a great summer!

Subject:You will always be my hero
Dear Admiral: I met you during your tour of New Wine Magazine for an interview in Mobile, Alabama in 1977 when I told you my Dad served 30 years in the Marine Corps and you told me you wouldn't hold that against me:) I pray God raises up a generation of men and women like you. Thank you for loving this Country and her people to the brink, and beyond. I could never thank you enough. God bless you.

I was sorry to hear about your wife passing.I wish you well and hope you are also doing well. Regards Janet Paynter wife and mother!
